When I come to having a respray im set on having my mini in black.
Probably going to have a dark brown interior, with the black to go with my walnut dash.

anyone with brown leather interior?

My Opinion but, I would go cream leather and walnut with a soft touch cream headlining and walnut.

Maybe have the centre of the seats perforated to break it up a bit?

Only reason im not going cream leather is because I can see it being a pain in the arse to keep clean.
I was tempted to go dark brown with cream piping, or black piping with cream stitching in the center on perforated parts like you say. They are a must have
Decisions decisions.

hmm, Lol. Cream leather can be a pain, I know. Dad's mercedes is cream leather but it does look gorgeous. I just think with brown you've just got to be carful it doesn't look like poo. :P. I have seen some nice brown leather seats but they're are very flash. If you want a pic of dads interior. Cream leather and walnut let me know.

I agree with Noah cream looks great, the only muck you tend to get is in the creases but its no more work than the red we have on Paddy

If your going to get them recovered, I'd go for recaro's rather than the 'cobra copies, much better quality and more comfy :)

I'm planning on going with brown too. I have a friend that orders leather sofas direct and I'm going to have him ship me a big piece of tanned leather. I just have to decide what seats to retrim. Was going for microcells but thinking redoing the stock ones might be easier.

I'm going for brown leather seats, dark purple carpets, and rough cut suar wood for the dash bound by black leather top and bottom dash rails.

Cream is too 80s-90s, go with brown. The trend in fashion and home furnishing and even the car industry is now moving towards natural tones. A lot of new cars are offering browns now.

Brown with a black car will make it look very sophisticated. It will grown well with your taste I think.

P.s. Also, a brushed finish on metals will match better than chrome. Black suede door cars with brushed aluminium door handles from DSN would look great.

Think im set with brown.
I will proob retrim some other seats rather that buy new.
Like Minimacro says above, its choosing which seats to use.
My mini project has once again be put on hold but next year I will be cracking on with it but I want to try and keep it looking very mini. Bucket seats look ace and at first I wanted them. However I like the classic look.
so having a respray in black, new chrome parts on the out, brown leather inside with cream headlines and my walnut dash.

Cheers for advice fellas!

I recommend RS Turbo Recaros.

Or if you fancy more luxury the sports style seats from a CLK but wire in the electric motors :o (If you feel like being a boss. These ones are manual.)

They're epicly comfy
