hi there,
I am thinking of purchasing a pair of evo 5 recaro seats for my mini sprite. however I've heard that the width may be a problem. I was wondering if any of you have previously fitted reclining recaros in a mini, and if the seats can fit in the mini, or are they just too wide?
I am will be making custom subframes and I do realise that seats such as- Subaru seats, and Honda type r seat have been fitted, but never evo recaros?

It'll be tight but the will fit, you may have to feel up your passenger to change gear.

so do you reckon it will fit with out the seats rubbing togeather? also i'll just make the passengers seat as far back as possible to create some more room up front. cheers for the reply, and hopefully i wont have to assult the passenger on every gear change :)

The one way to check is to make a measure ment of the inside width of the car, then the width of the seats at the widest point on the back and the base.

They look like they'll fit fine.

good idea :)
i've just brought the seats off ebay, they are mint. came out of a evo 5 with only 21,000 miles, so no rips or damage to the seats. :)
so when i get them it'll be the moment of truth.
