It really sounds like a totally dead battery. connect the battery to another cars battery with some jump leads (positive to positive negative of the other cars battery to earth on your mini) and see what what happens when you turn it over.

Right sorted it out, cleaned all the battery conections and the starter solenoid connections and it now works thanks for the help. :highfive:
