You will have expensive quotes due to your age, the cars rarety, the fact its modified etc
I am with adrian flux 19 and had just passed my test when I got insurance for my '84 998 mini which was standard, living in a nice postcode and its costing £1400 this year

17, just passed my test with all my mods (alot of mods) on my insurance living on the worst postcode area F* rated in manchester and i was paying 3639 from adrian flux! just keep ringing back and forth companys its amazing just how much you can get them to drop! my original quote off adria flux was over 7500, also if you buy cheap trackers (£40) and alarm off ebay or the likes of its amazing at how much % off your insurance you get, every little helps!

hope this helps
