Hi there guys,

Been offered a very cheap Webber 40 DFVA which doesn't look like its ever been used. Think it was for an old ford, I had 2 questions:

1. What sort of other equipment am I going to be looking to source/fabricate to get this carb to fit - if it will at all? I have access to lathes, mills, etc. so I can create some custom parts.

2. Will it work? Standard 998 engine, If I was going to put this carb on I would get an LCB manifold, however I'm thinking will I actually see any difference between the webber and my current SU?

Thanks in advance,
Dom

Okay thanks guys :)

The only reason I considered it is because it was £25 and has never been used. And yeah it does have automatic choke
