Hello

I am testing the water so to speak in the sale of my Minivan. Looking to buy a house soon and my other project is nearing completion. I pulled it out of a barn early this year and have done all the repairs to it to get it back into tip top condition. It has had a full heritage front, sills, floor and rear valance along with all the other rot being cut out of it. Both subframes were stripped and repainted. It has had a full brake, suspension and engine rebuild. I upgraded the front brakes to 7.5discs so i could keep the 10" wheels. All the electrics have been overhauled and all working. It passed the Mot with no advisories the weekend before l2b and done the whole run with no problems.

Its sporting a standard 998cc engine, manual. No thrills but superb on mpg.

Interior wise it has a wooden dash with a temp and rev counter. It also has buckets because standard seats fowl on the doors. I have also built a boot liner which makes the back look alot neater.

It also has all new rubbers. New tyres, locks and a spare set of keys. The audio system will also come with it.

Price is £7000

The only thing letting it down atm are the doors. I've cut the rot out of the bottom but one warped and the other had damage from when i pulled it out of the barn. It really needs new skins but looks fine how it is atm.

PM me if interested.

Following a recent thread £5500 would consider a swap for a more modern car of equivilant value or a cheap run about and some money my way

i had a very similar van which i struggled to sell for months (yours is abit nicer in all honesty) but i got just over £3000 for mine, there worth alot more, its just time of year, current financial conditions and what not. just stick with it and i wouldnt take anything under £5k (if your in a position to hold on to it, which i wasnt)

Thanks, i'm thinking about keeping hold off it now, perhaps sorn it when the mot runs out. Perhaps wait till the market picks up.
