Hi Guys.
Okay so last week I decided I'd do something about my noisy head. Initially I thought it was just the valve clearances needing doing. So i got out the trusty workshop manual and went about setting them.. they were a bit out, but that's all done now.
Unfortunately after that I still had a noisy, bag of nails sounding engine.
So my next theory was maybe there was some build up in the oil galleries. so I did an engine flush.. changed the oil. drove for a day and changed the oil again as well as the oil filter.. now my dipstick is showing nice clean oil and under the rocker cover is nice and clean too.. Ive got oil pressure ... though the light does come on sometimes when you first start when cold. but goes away after a few seconds. but anyway oil is getting to the top of the head.
Yet still my engine sounds like a bag of nails... but I do think the noise has changed. not so ticky anymore... but more of a rattle. could even be a dry bearing somewhere I suppose.
Anyway here is a link to the youtube video of it running at idle.
If you think it is timing chain related. any advice on what I need to replace in order to quieten down my engine would be much appreciated.
If not please tell me what you think I need to do.

Do you think they might need replacing? do you know how to tell if they do?
