Back brakes failed on mot. Managed to change passenger side spreader and tighten that up.
But the other side rounded off even after lubing it up and leaving for a week.

So new back plate baught, went to take hub off and got stuck.
Got the front bearing out but the back one is being stubborn.
Didnt want to force it as didnt know if theres a trick?

Also is there any way of knowing if your headlights are correct allignment other than taking it to garage?!?

Adjusters normally free off if you strip the brakes off and heat up the adjuster with a butane torch and turn the adjuster with mole grips. Then you just fit a new adjuster.
Check the headlights by shining them on the garage door.

A butane torch isn't expensive: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1c228b7dd8 plus a can of gas. If you plan to work on a mini then it will pay for itself many times over.
