Is there a difference in a/ a+ sizes for the banjo bolt on the oild filter connecting pipe? I bought a part stripped 1275, when I came to strip this bit I found the bolt was just sat in the hole and the thread is way too small for what is tapped in the block but the bolt is the right size for the pipe. I am guessing they changed the bolt and pipe but can't find a listing for it on minispares.

By far the most authoritative web site for such things is Somerford Mini, and they only show a single part number 2A715 for the banjo bolt. I think that yours may have been stripped and re-tapped.

Did a shed load of searching last night and discovered that they started off as 5/8 but changed to 11/16 in 1992 so mine is fine. I have to admit that I am not a fan of Somerford, the pics are very useful but if they omit something it doesn't exist to them and that can cause problems. I eventually found that Minispares do a kit with braided pipe to convert as the filter head is also different but why no-one lists the 11/16 banjo bolt is a complete mystery to me and you have to know exactly what you are looking for to find the one on minispares.

Ah! That explains it
