Hi, when the radio is on loud-ish, it starts to flicker and when turned up any more it will just cut out and restart.
When the hazards or indicators are on the radio cuts out on a lesser volume ..im guessing they run on the same circuit
This makes me think its something to do with the power or earth cables, where does the radio earth?

Definitley sounds like an earth, whip the unit out and have a look behind

Are you getting dimming lights?

Is the Alt working correctly?

What voltage is the battery showing when idle and when the engine running.

If all of those are ok then it's either the whirring to the head unit of the head units built in amp.

The interior light will dim slightly on bass notes when its on.
The main lights are fine and so should the alternator as it can handle the 4 spotlights all on at once.
I'll check the battery voltage at some point

Where does the headunit earth so i can have a look?
