Does anyone know of a light weight aluminium sump guard which is available at present?

Those are all really flimsy,you wouldn't want to hit anything with one which kind of defeats the object really. The one works ones were an great chunk of cast alu

well apart from the fact the last link there is ther ones used in the 60's on the infamous copper rally cars!!

I don't think the OP was asking about a full competition sump guard. For most drivers people who are likely to face nothing worse than traffic calming bumps and the odd 'B' class road, a lightweight one will be fine.
