1991 'J' Mini Mayfair
998 cc with MiniSpares Stage 1 kit fitted

Hi all,
I am looking to do as complete a service of my Mini as I can. I understand this is a good thing to do generally AND a sensible thing to do before you getting it set up on a rolling road (not done since previous owner fitted the Stage 1 kit) which I hope to get done.

I am having something of a frustrating time trying to work out what parts I need. I DO NOT expect anyone to work this out for me, I'm posting here as much to vent as anything else. Though it would be helpful if someone posted even one tip about how to identify the correct part, or at least narrow down the options.

Below I've listed what I'm looking to get and the MiniSpares part no. or my research comments\thoughts

Standard service parts list:
Oil filler cap Could be GFE6003 or GFE6007 or 12A402 (What is a "late" car?) ?
Radiator pressure cap GRC1110... probably but I can't tell if I have an expansion tank which would mean I needed GRC207 instead
Air Filter NOT REQUIRED - K&N Fitted (but need cleaner & oil)
Fan belt Think GCB10825 or GCB10838 depending whether existing one is toothed or not - So need to look at existing one...
HT leads GHT241 £12.60 PLUG LEAD SET 6mm DOUBLE SILICON - GENUINE
Distributor cap Seem to be many many options. Have removed current one but no markings on it that I can see.
Spark Plugs BP5ES or BP6ES? (currently has BP5ES)
Oil and Oil Filter GFE166 £2.70 OIL FILTER SPIN ON TYPE 1973 TO 1996 (MANUAL ONLY)
Rotor arm Probably need GRA2114, as car is post '74 and the distributor cap is not red (which would be indicative of Ducellier type?)
Points Probably GCS2261

Rear brake hub screws CMZ422 £0.41ea BRAKE DRUM REAR SCREW COOPER S/GT 1984 ON
Brake caliper split pin (x4)
Brake adjusting spanner
Wheel nuts AJM1139
Spiggotts?
K&N Air Filter Cleaning Fluid? SDCLEANER
K&N Oil Spray 6.5oz SDOIL01

So if anyone can give me any points great - hell even if you just laugh because you've been through this yourself that's cool.
