hey guys. for sale i have my 1991 cooper shell.

i was going to use this shell for my project however i have just bought a more suitable one.

the shell is black with a white roof as can be seen in the pics, this shell needs a front end including inner wings as they were removed for a flip front, inner and outer sills (inners ills could be patched), front floor pans, a panels, repairs to the rear quarters, rear valence, scuttle, the rear arches have started to be tubbed so new arches if you want to put it back to origional. as you can see this shell has gone in all the usual places but i have seen alot worse be restored. right this car has the v5 with the identification plaque and all the numbers match inlcuding the one stamped on the car so this is not some dodgy shell it is all correct and honest. it has also only had 4 owners inlcuding me which is very nice. this shell is not for the faint hearted and is only a bare shell no doors glass etc. i shall upload more pics off the rust tommorow :)

as promised here are the pics, as you can see the outer sill on the drivers side has been removed so will save you some work there. you can also see the rear arcvh starting to be tubbed :)

As you have found out its not cheap to get a shell solid and done properly with no patches or bodging. And for less money which it will take to get this shell right it's cheaper to buy a solid car to start with.

So I stand by my offer. Ha ha

Turn it into a trailer, Bet oz won't take long to do that for you. Trailer sell quite well these days. Just leave it white or in primer for some to paint it the colour of there car.

James this shell was given to you for free in good faith that you would do something positive with it. I honestly diddnt think you would try and sell it on for money.

Did you give James the shell Neil? none of my business really but if its true not really cricket

Yeap it was given to him for free. Neil felt it was too good to scrap as he owned it for many years and rather see it go to someone who will keep it going.
This car has not been advertised on our club forum even tho that's we're he managed to hear about it ,plus. Being a member of the club. It was put on here to sell which is a bit cheeky. Along with the asking price

Its not cheeky its rude. I'm all up for buying and selling, one mans rubbish is another mans gold but anyone would give £50 to collect the metal and put it on ebay and someone would pay hundreds, esp with the V5. pftt
