Hi, has anyone fitted the BMW k100 bike head to the a series? I have a mini ritz 1380 with twin 1.5 su carbs. Was thinking about putting a weber carb on instead though. Came across an advert with the BMW K100 twin cam head, just wondering if it was possible to fit to 1380 engine and if it would be worth while? Any advice would help, thanks

Lots of people have done it. Specialist Components and Force Racing do kits to simplify the conversion. I'm building one next year once my bodywork is finished.

Thanks mate. Spoke to a guy at specialist components. They have all the conversion parts. Think that'll be my winter project :)

Hi, Im currently building a 1330 K100 engine using the specialist components kit.
Im following Johns at SC's 1293 engine build that produced around 107bhp.
Im blogging the build diary on: www.twincammini.com.
If you are thinking of doing the SC conversion order the build guide first and have a good read of it. I can confirm the support from SC is also v good and they are always happy to answer my questions.
Cheers
