Are the sills the only cavities that I need to inject with waxoyl or are there other areas that would benefit from this treatment. (I'm using waxoyl in a generic sense, I'll probably be using Dinitrol)?

Also where do you inject, I assume you need to drill holes and plug them after? And lastly in an older car do you need to kil and or convert the rust prior to injecting the waxoyl?

No there is the forward bulkhead cross member, the floor cross member, the scuttle close outs and the rear valance close outs.

If there is existing rust all you will do is delay it but it will eventually come through.

Sills you can inject through the vents or through the seatbelt holes with an extension probe.

Other box sections are the rear valance closer panels, scuttle corners which can be accessed at the top of the bulkhead near the bonnet hinges, and also the door posts which you can do through the hole where the check strap goes.

Also worth doing the rear subframe, in between/ below where the trumpet sits as this can collect water.

Thanks for the replies.
In the past I've just waxoyled with a gun annually and that always seemed to work well. I guess get it up on ramps and axle stands, pressure wash any dirt, when dry spray with a rust killer, then waxoyl every thing. Would anyone advise trying to wash and treat the inside of the sills before the waxoyl?

I wouldn't add water to the sills unless you can make sure it's completely dry in there after, like a heated garage or something

Look up Shell Ensis its used on oil rigs in the north sea, I have used it for years and IMO is better than waxoyl

Not really a cavity, but the door bottoms benefit from wax
