Hey man, unfortunately that isn't mine, it's a picture I got off Google a while ago. The centre speedo sits in its own surround, with the two dash pieces sitting next to it separately.

Hi, the works cars were very often different depending on age, spec and driver's preferences. You should really try over on the Cooper Register Forum as they have lots of works and replica owners over there. I know that someone over there has pics of the inside of a works car (won't say which) as he is rebuilding it atm

You should find this site useful. It is a bit primative but it's run by Guy Smith - well known in works mini circles. Each of the pages for specific cars has pics of the dashes. You can see how they are all a bit different:

It took a long time to build mine and honestly unless your building a mk1 works mini replica or a mk2 I can't really see the point of a full works dash in a mini sprite or something

Why not its a dash its just styling dont matter what car it goes in i dont want a fibreglass one as i can just see getting annoying squeels and noises from them i dont want to be boring and go for a normal dash and im guna buy the works and make a samller pod facing me with centre speedo in it

Cool dude , sounds like a plan . The works panels are formed from aluminium sheet and are simple in construction mounted between upper and lower dash rails with self tappers. Get some black crackle paint if you wan th look and finish with dymo tape lettering .

Check that out any it may give you some clues/ inspiration
