Has anyone any experience with the non genuine front wings available from Mini Spares? I need a front wing pretty quickly and wanted a genuine one but they are showing no stock, so wondered just how good the non genuine ones are.

Apparently minispares non genuine stuff is magnum panels or similar; M-Machine do the best non genuine panels

Have used them and they go on ok. No wings I have ever seen fit without a bit of work, not even heritage ones. Heritage are the best but minispares ones work as well as any anon gen ones I have seen.

I agree with Tamworthbay, heritage are by far the best but you will need to do some pushing, shoving and general fiddling.
M Machine panels ive used are excellent quality steel and weld really well, although they come without e-coating so need priming up fairly promptly after welding.
The Magnum panels ive used are ok but the steel seems to have some very thin zinc coating on them which might be a good thing.... however where ive welded a magnum to any other steel, the areas around the welds has begun to corrode and turn orange overnight..... so theres some indifference in the steel quality there.
M.Machine panels weld superb as do heritage..... not overly impressed with magnum though.....

They will do the job but if its a dull grey e coat then you do need to wash it off with thinners before painting, Heritage are the best by far but then there's the extra cost. M Machine own panels are very good but like mentioned they need to be primed or Zinc primed very quickly.
