Hi all. I have purchased a pair of mx5 seats and subframes. But I dont know about how to get around it fitting them in my car, either permanent fixings or being able to flil forward.

Could anybody give me a few pointers or even better a guide on how to fit them, but bearing in mind I can not weld. Thanks

You need to fix them permanently reont and rear, to get in the back you can slide the seats forward and inlcine the seat by pulling the handle. Great seats, had them in all my road cars.

The other option is get some mini specific seat subframes for base mounted bucket seats and bolt the front on and redrill the rear holes as they won't quite line up (will work on the drivers side but not certain on the passenger side)
