The Mini I have just started working on has got it in the engine bay which I thought strange being as my other one is in the boot, both '92 cars. I assume the pipe goes along the roof somewhere but does anyone know if the electrics will be in the boot already, taped up maybe,ie they used the same harness or If I'll have to run wiring through too.Precious little room in the engine bay as is,without that great lump in there.

no, if its in the engine bay you will have to make your own loom to move it to the boot. The washer pipe runs up the drivers side, but the wires run over the passenger side
it was moved on later cars to allow for the servo and ecu

ok thanks. It does have a servo and is the same year as I mentioned so I had hoped maybe the wires would be there. Hey ho. No prob,if I am running the pipe then I can just plug into the 2 wires for the front washer pump, extend them and run it all to the back
