Apologies for the crap pics, but it's dark in my garage so difficult to get a decent snap. Will get more when I can get it out into the light if anyone wants them

Have had a lot of views on this and my previous ad, but no interest as yet. Is the price wrong?

thats a good looking colour combo. Fit the dash, sort the minor bad points and whack a new MOT on it and I recon that will sell for that price.

Tax will be renewed in the next couple of weeks. However, in light of the MOT needing doing in January, and the fact that if possible, I would like this gone before xmas, I'd consider offers around £2700.

It's a combination of things. Firstly it's an awful time to sell at the moment as nobody has any money on the run up to christmas. Secondly getting over £2.5k for any 80's/90's mini is a challenge with the market as it is. Thirdly the debumpered racer look wont appeal to everyone, so as nice as your car is, you may have to wait a while for the right type of buyer to come along. Finally and probably most importantly, selling a car with a very short MOT puts a lot of buyers off. An MOT only costs £40-£50 and takes an hour to do, so if a car is roadworthy and will go through an MOT, then it makes sense to put a full MOT on any car you are trying to sell. Buyers know this and therefore will often assume that the only reason a seller wouldn't put a full MOT on a car before selling is, because they know that the car would fail an MOT.

So putting all that together, I'd wait until spring then put a full MOT on it and advertise it on somewhere like pistonheads, where the type of buyer you want for this car is likely too look. Personally I'd advertise it at £2,6995 with a view to getting £2.5k for it. Failing that, to sell a car with one months MOT at this time of year, I think you'll have to drop the asking price considerably.

Agree with everything Avv it says, except the price. Nearly £27k is a little excessive ;)
Lovely little mini.

£27k is a little excessive, however £2700 is nearer the mark! ;o)
Open to offers by the way - tax is going to get renewed imminently.
