Not into Minors per se, but I'd be very happy with this one

I disagree, one of our staff / test vehicles is a Morris Minor. They are the perfect size and shape to do so much with. Ours is completely modified and customised. Very cool cars :)

However without the fwd Minor prototype there may not have been the Mini......Alec Issigonis the designer of the Mini and the Morris Minor wanted to make the Minor front wheel drive, he built a prototype but it never went into production, later the idea would be used in the Mini

"After the launch of the classic Morris Minor in 1948, Issigonis and Jack Daniels began work on a front-wheel drive Morris Minor prototype; Daniels completed the work after Issigonis had left the firm (which had now merged with Austin to form the British Motor Corporation) for Alvis in 1952.
The prototype proved to have superior road-holding qualities to the more conventional front lateral engine, rear-wheel drive designs, and its transversely mounted engine left more room for passengers and luggage."
