Sometimes when driving my clutch gets stuck on the floor. It will just jame at the back whilst pushing it down, i have to put my hand down and pull it back up, once i did this and it has worked fine ever since! Is this normal for a mini? It has only ever happend to me twice in 3 months. Just wondering if its a warning before somthing serioud brakes

Its not normal no, and could be dangerous
Is the pedal stiff all the way down?
Pedal shafts often run dry and cause issues if not lubricated

I suggest checking these first.

1) If your clutch has an external return spring. As you've given us chuff all info, we need your cars year. As it may be a verto or diaphram clutch.

2) Check the bolts under the carpet where the clutch pedal goes down. My old Hornet, when I put the pedal box in, it was just close enough to hit the U-bolt when I jammed my size 12foot onto the pedal. It would hit, if I gave it a touch of sideways force it would wiggle around the bolt. Its an odd one, but might be worth checking the U-bolts for marks in case the pedal is snagging up on that.

Check also that the fairly heavy pedal return spring is not broken. It is essential, and relying on the hydraulics to return the pedal, if that spring is broken, will result in several serious problems.
