Should be a simple thing but I have looked at dozens of photographs of Mk 1's and can't determine if the grill was the same or different for the two marques. Can anyone help me here please? Also, were painted grills (I have a NOS one in white) only ever fitted to vans and pick-ups, or were there any fitted to early 'basic' cars.
As always, help much appreciated.

Thanks Alex,
My project came with a much later grill with the extra chrome trim bar attached to the bonnet. I recently bought an early NOS grill exactly like the one you show (but without the moustache and side trims) but am unsure if it was a standard fitment and if so, if both Austin and Morris both used it?
Once I have finished the body painting I have a choice of the later type chrome, or, I rather fancy painting the new grill matte black (or leave it white or buy the correct grill if this isn't). Decisions, decisions!
Whichever/whatever, I still need to buy a moustache.........
