Force Racing Split Rims 8X13 On The Rear Of My Busa

Has anybody out their fitted 8x13 Force racing splits rims to their Mini Hayabusa and if so what issues should I be looking out for the tyres will be Yokohamas 205x60x13 AO48

Joss, what are you running currently?

The few things I would say about big side walled rear tyres is they have a lot of roll in the corners and add to the bounce/rebound effect you get in small car over a bump as you cant dampen the bounce from the rubber. You will need to consider the positioning of the arches at full compression of the suspension as you dont want any rub.

I am running Toyo R888 225/45 13's on my rear and I prefer them to the previous Toyo R888 205/60 13's. Theres not a great deal of difference in the overall width of the tyre but the tread width is greater, the rolling diameter of the 225's is considerably less and might need the front lights checking at an MOT station/garage.
