Torque wrench is definately suspect here. How long since the calibration was checked? If it is not accurate, then a torque wrench is about as much use as an ashtray on a motor bike!

One thing that might be worth checking! on some gaskets they have a sort of o ring seal around some of the waterway holes, i have known these to come adrift and sit under the gasket. you dont notice this until you see the water seeping out.

Time for the head to come off again, fit a new gasket after checking everything else out and get another torque wrench just to make sure.
