The mini is misfiring on two cylinders not sure which number but the one closest to the rad and the second closest to the rad also, so they are next to each other.. I took the ht lead off both of them and it makes no difference, I checked for a spark and both leads are sparking? What can cause this and where do I start? I have a friend bringing a compression tester (what will I be looking for with the compression?) round soon but anything I can check before? Thanks in advance!

Possibly headgasket gone between two cylinders, the compression test will show that up, well it will show lower compression in two cylinders whether thats the headgasket or not you wont know till you take the head off,

Alright just got to wait for the compression tester then and the manifold was smoking a little so I'll tighten it up, thanks!

Swap the spark plugs over for the ones in the working cylinders see if the problem stays or shifts to the other two cylinders, this will rule out a fault with the spark plugs.

Checked the compression it had none, so took the head off and the head gasket has gone. So quick and easy fix, thanks for the help! :)
