Morning Guys,
I hit a high curb with my drivers front side wheel about 2 weeks ago now when I go over 50mph I get a rattling noise coming from the front passenger side wheel arch area. any ideas what this could be?
I'm gonna replace the breaks this weekend anyway so will have it jacked up so just need a guide on what to look for.
Also I want to check the sub frame mounts any one got a picture/description of where they are? Top and Bottom?
Thanks

The only thing I can thing of that might rattle would be the brake disc shield.

Hey Guys thanks for the replies.
I've had the brake disc shield brake on the other brake and this rattle is more of a heavy kinda rattle compared to the rattle of a brake disc shield. also I don't have a glovebox!
so don't think it is that.
Gonna have to have a real good look this weekend, when it is jack up etc.
Unless anyone else has any ideas?

If you could record the noise that would be helpful but, make sure the wheel is balanced properly.
Make sure all the bolts are done up Tight.

If it is then not a problem as changed the drivers sidelast weekend and actually have another on back order at the local GSF so i know how to do it and was hoping I wouldn't need to change the other side...

I would check or replace the CV joint and wheel bearing after clouting the curb as you describe

Shuddering after curbing could be wheel out of balance, wheel bearings, ball joints.
Inspect it ASAP.
