Hi,

I'm looking to get cheap car insurance for my new purchase (picking up next Saturday)...... http://www.theminifo...ports-for-sale/

Does anyone recommend a good insurance company which will give cheap quotes for Minis.

Thanks

Pete

If you're getting quotes for around £175 ,then I guess you're probably a bit of an old codger like me. In which case a classic policy from Footman James is worth a try, or a alternatively a classic policy from Adrian Flux is worth a look too. I believe both Footman & Adrian Flux will also give you a 15% discount too, if you invest a fiver and get yourself a TMF+ membership number here first. ;D

Also you really, really, really, need an agreed valuation policy if you are insuring a classic mini. Otherwise in the event of a claim you are only likely to get back the "standard market value" for your pride and joy that you have invested thousands in, (which for most classic minis is just a few hundred quid!!). You are unlikely to get an agreed valuation policy from mainstream insurers that you find on comparison websites, which is why you need to give specialist insurers a try like Footman James, Adrian Flux, and HIC etc.
