I have a 1990 Rover Mini Mayfair which needs a replacement Heater/Blower Fan motor, I have found one online at a breakers yard, but it is from a 1984 Austin Mini Mayfair. Would this be compatible?

Thanks in advance!

It should work - have a look here.

I took mine apart (1973) and re-built it.....

I have the same problem with mine! Is there a guide to how to remove it on here? When i picked up my new car (not the one in the photo) it was flooded so i have currently got it stripped out! Perfect time to replace it!

Remove the pipes.

There are two studs that stick out from the back of the heater and hook over brackets on the firewall.

Loosen the nuts on those...

Then there are two self tappers that hold it to the dash in the front.

Undo the self-tappers and it hinges down.. you can then lift it off the hooks on the back...

Simples.

My blower switches on and seems to be working but no idea where the air is going because it's not coming out out of the vents. Ideas?
Sorry to hijack the thread :)
