Fair enough. I just hope the cars are still there.

Waouw I am quite amazed by the reaction & so glad to see this story is spreading at last...hopefully it can stops this guy... any other hints of what to do on him? the legal proceedings are one things but slow & frankly not really effective... James bashing online is one way to attack I guess... but certainly not enough... any idea welcome =)

O I thought he was still running a garage of some sort... Maybe you can pm manneke who was looking for his address, as it wouldn't be that hard to follow the guy home one night so he can get a residential address

Trac

Many many thanks - I have his official address (electoral roll public info) which is the same he gave me at the start, I found out that he seems to be residing to another address but do not have the precise postal address (i.e. with street number etc) & where he is "trading" would be most useful... what a community on this forum! =)

Folks think very carefully about what you say here on a public forum. Threats etc are leaving yourselves open to issues you do not want to go through.

Any more comments like that will be deleted. If you have a pertinent comment to make then please do so but if not then do not comment.

Thank you for the warning that all should take heed of! James has access to the site, it's not hard to make a 2nd account lol! And just remember guys, don't open urself up to be liable, or anything that may give James a helping hand! Karma will come back around! What's surprised me is how nice and supportive some have been in here and out, big thanks for that :)

Well the nice supportive nature is kind of the point of this forum! Its just a shame that some people spoil all the fun for others...

Just for everyone to know.

I HAVE NEVER WORKED FOR MIDLANDS MINI CLINIC!!!

Not even gone to there place before, or even heard of them before this thread.

I want it noted that i DO NOT fit oversills in any case, the only time i have used them is when a customer brought them, but i cut them lengthways to make the more like the originals. Otherwise i use genuine sills.

And please could a mod take down any information on myself on this thread, apart my piece here, as it can be damaging to my business. I have actually seen a reduction in business from this site and this could be the reason.

Just recieved this, so thought id update here...

We've managed to speak to the landlord of the compound James used for Midlands Mini Clinic. As he's done a disappearing act, the landlord is clearing the compound - including sending off the cars etc to Dubai (!!) to recover some costs. I've been in touch with manneke regarding this, but am not sure how relevant it is for him.

I'd get someone to serve notice that a first charge is already held on the items in the compound. I'd also advise all owners whose cars are in the compound to register them as stolen.

I can't say I blame the landlord, I might tend to do the same, but at the end of the day the stuff isn't the debtor's for him to hold a lien over.

I'd stop messing around too....Mr James knows how to deal with CCJ's....but hit him with a statutory demand for payment and then a bankruptcy petition. It's going to cost you (i think) about £500 deposit to do it, but it will stop him doing it to anyone else. If he has any money anywhere, the OR's office will find it, and if he lies, he'll end up in prison.

It really doesn't take much snooping to find out a great deal about our friend, better he does the sensible thing before his life becomes quite tedious. County Court Bailiffs are easy compared to the games the OR can play.

I'd also call the nice men at HMRC and ask them to have a look into his VAT status.

Agreed with the above, on my side the car was sold by James long ago so not directly impacted...but the landlord has no more right to the good in the compound than anny of James debtors...so what he is doing is stealing other people's belongings to recover his losses...so in effect he could be prosecuted for this, has anyone the details of the landlord? I would be interested to get his details to my solicitor see if something can be done against him as doing justice yourself is definitely not "legal" & detrimental to other people who have had their car stolen by James...

Hello all,

Back on this forum after some time out - my nasty experience with Mrs Alma & Walker had unfortunately delayed the whole thing...& simply no much cash left for my dreamed mini!

but starting to look again to get a classic mini...I won't rush this time! will open another topic than this one once I get serious about it...

On this topic, does people know the whereabouts of James? is he still working at the same place? seems his landlord kicked him out for not keeping up with the payment (how is that possible? ;-) & he took his own project car somewhere else...any info would be helpful

Seems also that James has now 2 court orders against him (what the investigation team found out) - mine & another one for 5,500gbp...someone else must also be looking for him...

On my side I am going down the various legal routes to try & recover my money...
