that would depend on what brakes you have

disk brakes make your wheels stick out around an inch more than drums

Had W&P delux versions on my first mini, with 12x5 minilifes from minispares and the fit was perfect.

nice arches too.

And mine had drums plus built in spacer on the rear, and converted from standard drum to 8.4 discs on front....fit was fine.

Some body coloured W&P arches should look nice and subtle with 12x5's

Be careful if you go for the ABS Wood and Pickett style arches that a lot of companies sell as these are wider than original W&P type arches. I had to cut about an inch off mine to get them to suit my 12x5's.

Group 2 arches go well with 12x5 wheels, assuming you have disc brakes.

Yeah, ill agree with mini_magic. But you've got 2 choices with group 2s, either a skinny version 'rally' or the wide version 'race' it just depends what you want your car to look like with stance, standard or with a bit of width to it

Surely you would need arches to cover 12x5's with disc brakes, otherwise the tread would be exposed and be illegal? I realise it depends on the offset to a certain extent, but surely you struggle to get any 5 inch wide wheel under there without it scrubbing on the inner arch.
