i like the look, but do they remove water better?

I can only assume they either do about the same or less. I can't imagine they are better than original wipers.

I too just like the look of them

Well these looks like an accident waiting to happen. Water is just going to pool in the middle of the screen between the blades and be forced back into the line of sight by wind speed and the curvature of the screen.
