there's a mini 25 for sale locally, no pictures but im just wanting a ball park figure of what I should be looking to pay.

Silver mini 25, fully original inc wheels, trim ect. Its in adveradge condition with a few age related marks but nothing to worry about, full t&t, in silver.

Just looking for a rough guide as im thinking of buying it for the mrs for Xmas

Body work has a couple of bubbles on doors and boot, nothing major, bumpers look tired but it in ok condition for its age really.

To clear, when I say its for the mrs I mean I'll call it an Xmas present and let her drive it occasionally. I'm just after a rough ball park figure so I know what to offer for it

What it's worth, what someone might charge, what someone will be willing to pay can differ! Depends what it's like underneath really - if it has rusty subframes, floors, etc then that can seriously affect the value.

An average mini with t&t would probably fetch £1-2k these days, depending how average it is. A special edition like the 25 is attractive, especially in original order as you describe, so perhaps towards the higher end of that.

However if it's not going to go through the next MOT without a lot of welding it would be towards the lower end.

The 25 isn't really thought of as all that special yet, it was the first birthday edition mini and thus I recon it will pick up but at the moment it's still an 80s mini with nicer interior,

(I have a 25 as well but it's not that standard any more, but I have kept all the bits so it can go back standard when it's worth more :) )

Oh and the seats have a really handy pocket on the front behind your shins!

Its just past its mot and I'll be going over it with a screwdriver before I part with my brass lol I was just looking for a ball park figure so I know how much to haggle with on an offer. Got a few to look at and the closer it gets to Xmas the more desperate people get lol

About 2.5k in really nice condition, I paid 2k for mine which needed a paintjob but was 90% rust free :)

nice one, at least i have a rough idea of where to start and a limit to put on my haggling. i've got the luxury of being picky on price as theres a few minis for sale in the price band i'm looking at and the closer i get to christmas the more likley they are to drop a few quid to get a quick lump in their pocket (lump from cash not personal favours lol)
