Bad luck mate!

Do you know the reason why it flew up on the motorway? Was it not attached properly at the front or the back?

Mine flew up, and smacked the windscreen, and creased the bonnet where it hit the roof gutter. Bonnet is absolutely mangled, but luckily my scuttle is undamaged, and my windscreen didn't break. Even luckier was that there was no-one in front or next to me on the motorway when it happened. Absolutely zer0 vision!
Shame about the bonnet, no doubt you'll be fitting some better way to keep it down now!

I have a bonnet its not in the best condition it has a small mark in it half way up the centre strip but it is already silver?! You are quite a way from me so i suppose would only be worthwhile having if you were coming down to riviera run at the end of the month?

hi every one.

as you can see i had a little upset :w00t:

id just like to say thanks very much to mowog sorting out my mini for me while i was away and also to everyone whos left notes here.

sadly as you can see its pretty totaled, i was driving down the A120 towards the M11 when the wind cought it and whipped it back up against the wind screen. as luck would have it the windscreen was fine, and as there was no one else directly around me i was able to drive it the 200 odd yards to a layby, Ace Ventura style!

although this frightened the s:xxx:t out of me!

i while possable be going the route of a carbon fiber bonnet, much like MOWOGS, the pair of them should look stunning when parked up together. but im not 2 sure yet. althought i will be getting a metal one as well, for the origanility of it.

thanks again to everyone

i have now brought my new bonnet. i went for a heratage steel 1 as i want to keep the bass bin as original as possable.

ive also got a quote from mowogs mate to have the scuttle sorted and he gonna look in to how much it will be for the bonnet to be sprayed. :-
