Hello All,

I am new to post on this site although I have been a regular viewer since I brought my Mini last year. I had been after one for some time, and found one that was being sold as the owner needed a larger car for his expanding family.

My Mini is a silver RE32 Cooper S which has had a great deal done to it, which I only appreciated once looking through the paperwork. It has all the aero upgrades, JCW stickers, etc on the outside, total new interior - blue leather seats, blue lights, even tv's in the headrests! When I started to drive it back home I realised it was very powerful! The sound alone could be heard a long way off, and just touching the accelerator shot me up the road! When I got home I looked further through the paperwork and found from a roling road report that the car had 280 hp!! From what I can see even though there is no paperwork for it, it looks like it has had a full engine upgrade. I know the JCW and GP versions are powerful but I have not yet found one with 280hp!

Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?!

Cheers N

Well its been tweaked, without documents showing whats been done the only way would be stripping it down to see whats been done,

most likely is inlet, exhaust mods, a smaller supercharger pully and possibly some porting in the head

Interesting upgrades and sounds like you have a nice purchase. Although there are some MINI owners on here who might be able to help, you will probably find the more specialist advice you need at http://www.mini2.com/
