Hi all I'm going to be jet washing my engine nxt wk the heads off it and its out of the car on the garage floor the engine it's self I meen. Is there anywhere I don't want to get water in I'm hoping to flush the inside out aswell as much as possible.

Generally if the engine is in the car: any open engine holes = dipstick, carb, breathers.
Anything electric = dizzy, relays, fusebox.
You get the idea.
If the head is off then you just need to make sure that you get all the water out after or the bores and the gearbox will start to rust.

The head is off but the gearbox is still attached?
If that is correct, I would wait to pressure wash until AFTER you have put the head back on. In addition to having to worry about rust/water in the bores... there are all sorts of paths for water to get into the gearbox. Again, wait until the head is back on then plug all the openings as Wise Old Elf said.
