Got her back yesterday.  Painto work looks ok in natrual light, but once in the garage and under strip lighting, you can see all the shadows from drips, orange peel and marks where a fly or something walked over the bonnet, whilst the paint was wet.

Painter was asked not to fit the arches, but seems that as well as a few things went in one ear, and straight out the other.  Will have to remove them anyway, as inch long screws are not what I had in mind for fitting them, and can't fit the rear cards with them in.  Still, it looks pretty good I think.

Got mk1 bumper with all the over riders etc and the moustache grill (7 slat), thinking of getting it all sprayed up in black.  Not sure if it's been done before, so if it has and anyone has any pics, please point me in the right direction.  Obviously i'm not too keen on painting several hundred pounds worth of parts, if it is gonna look crap.
