Hi all silly question but when I took my fuel tank out the other day and once I put it back in, I forgot to put the rubber surround back on the outside of the car, I was just wondering to put it back on will I have to remove the fuel tank again, or is there a simple solution to put it back on?.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could try levering it back in with a blade or screw driver but you stand a good chance of damaging the car or rubber. It will probably be faster and easier to just move the tank and put it back on.

Been there, done that, and I agree. It is hardly possible to fit it with the tank in. My attempts failed and the tank had to come out. Extreme perseverance would only have damaged something.
