Hi, just found this forum so thought I would say hello here.
I will be posting a question in the technical section in a minute, but just to let you know the current Mini I have is a 1971 Clubman Estate which my wife has owned for over 20 years, although in that time it has been on and off the road a few times for various work. Currently engine-less following the last 1275 engine throwing a rod in April 2003. Need to move it out of the garage for something else so hopefully it will have an engine again soon!

I will try to find a suitable one later - if I photographed it at the moment you would see much of it as it is largely burried under all sorts of "stuff" in the garage. As a preview, it is blaze orange, with a black roof and the wood strip painted black. Commonly known as Tigger.

Well - it has taken ages to get round to it, but I finally have a picture of the Mini. It came out of the garage last weekend now with an engine in place - one of these days I might manage to find time to get it to start!
Still some work to do as you can see, but structurally it is solid - just looking a bit scruffy due to lack of maintenance on the body. It will get sorted sometime, honest :grin:
