Before you ALL start with the inuendo's regarding said residue, could someone suggest a good way to get rid of sticker marks from window's

"My rear has sticky stuff all over the bottom of it" (may as well start with one)

Im not even lying... the best stuff i've used is this stuff from B&Q called 'Sticky Stuff Remover'. Thats really good, but i have also found Auto Gly tar remover pretty good too.

I'm sure other tar removers would work just as well though!

Anything solvent based will do the trick.

Although that sticky stuff remover really does work.

Yeah acetone is the stuff. I didn't find the AG stuff very good for glue.

Any of the above, or Servisol adhesive remover is excellent and smells of oranges!

A hammer will remove it. You'd need a new window though.

Wire wool on windows works wonders, and doesn't scratch. Surprisingly! Gets paint overspray off too.

I'd just use thinners on glass

Wd40 does also work if it's on paintwork though!
