I'm a little unsure of where it goes in the bulkhead!

When I look at the inlet, it's centred around the car (its at the same "width" as the gearbox change steady), yet I measure it, and I keep getting different measurements of offset (admittedly, I'm probably being a plank when I'm measuring it), yet I also read that the box should be offset slightly!

Can someone please tell me where the centre of their weber box is (just in case we have different widths) in relation to the inner wings/end of the x-member!?

TIA
