Hello
I am Looking to purchase a Maniflow 1.75" side exit exhaust and LCB and was wondering what mounting parts I would need or if the exhaust comes with one. I know there are kits for the RC40 exhaust that is the same diameter but I don't know whether it will fit or not. Please forgive me if this a stupid question but I'm new to minis. :)
Thanks

Duncan

There is a good fitting guide i found /w pictures:

Once fitted it should look a little something like mine :D

Hope this helped and good luck!

On Maniflows site they have a HD Fitting kit available for the side exit 1.75inch where I got mine from.

I used a stainless jubilee clip as the rear clamp look terrible turned down and there is not room to turn mine upwards.

Is there just a mounting at the back?

I've had a new Maniflow twin box system fitted and after a short run, the pipe pulled out of the back box. Clamps were tight, but not mega tight.

At idle, the whole exhaust from front to back sets up a vibration. The rear mount is two stiff bobbins on the subframe and a normal hanger. There is almost no movement if you swing on the end of the tailpipe.

Just wondering if there should be a mount in the middle somewhere to damp out the vibration and if the bobbins are too stiff?

Cheers

Almost no movement if I swing on the engine, but don't know about the mounts. Do they go soft or tear away?

I swapped out the solid mount that is located just before the back box (attached to the cross beam under the rear seats) to a rubber belt type one and its cut a lot of vibration noise out of the cabin - I think you get the solid metal mount with the kit?  My rearmost bobbins are rubber and metal and damp vibration at that end. The rubber belt and hook mounts in that there Halfrauds do the job, not sure how long they last but can be cut down and drilled to suit the job.

The middle mount shouldn't be solid, it should be one of these rubber jobbies - http://www.minispare...px|Back to shop

I used the RC40 one, but if you order from maniflow itself the injection stage one kit I ordered came with fitting clips etc etc, I now after taking my exhaust off now have a mixture of the two on and have no air leaks or anything.
