Hello all,

look!

[attachment=14440:attachment]

There's a hole in my flywheel casing! lol!
Do any of you lovely people know where I can buy the required plate?
Minispares and Moss both say no.

If not I guess I'll have to make one - but I thought I'd ask 1st. Surely someone does them.
Cheers ;D

sorry - its posted my question twice! can someone take the older one off please....thanks!

I have a stainless one, I think it came from Stainless Auto Components some time ago but I don't know whether they are still trading.

Nice one Dan! :P
They are still trading...

Stainless Auto Components

...I guess its called a "Timing Cover Kit" - that sound right, right?

Poor minimole! I guess a swiss cheese flywheel casing saves on weight though! ;D

i'd call them! It's not clear from their website if they are selling the plate, or the bolts that hold the timing chain cover on. "timing kit" is a bit ambiuous to say the least! (yet in my mind, everything else on that page is a kit of bolts, so why shouldn't that be!?)

Nice catch pikey - your right. I gave them a ring and they said it was the bolts covering the timing chain cover they were refering to.

Which still leaves me without a plate for my poor engine :'(
Screw it - I'll make one myself!!

Any idea what the bolt sizes would be? 1/4" UNF I guess?
