A+ Gearbox Noise

Before I took the engine out the box was noisy in 1,2, 3 gear but fine in fourth. Today, while taking engine to bits and once I got the flywheel housing off I notice the bearing cage was loose from the bearing

Could be my problem

I meant to say big ball bearing on re input shaft

how do I edit a post

I meant to say big ball bearing on re input shaft

i can't help with the gearbox troubles but the edit button is next to the quote button in the right hand corner

If the single roller has broken down then yes.
