Just watching On the buses on ITV3. i dont just watch it for the dreadful comedy but to see the beautiful old cars in the background. Including the minis!
This one particular film they buy a new mini van for the company which last all of 5 minuets... it gets crushed by a bus

I found the film on YouTube. and if you skip to 43:50 your see the mini meet its faith....



now if you re watch the scene. the mini moves. it also changes... Of course it was rigged up to crush easily. the Grille from a later type to a wavy grille. also the mini become very battered to what it was before hand. the colour changes and of course you can see the engine was removed. if you look closely you can see the front wheel are not in there correct place and there are caster wheel the car is sat on.

shame really but great comedy

you can clearly see it was a scrapper. the claw marks in the roof.

and the two busses have big wood boards to avoid damage haha

there is another on the buses on now and within the first five minutes you see three minis on the side of the road.
