hi, anyone else on here with them. Wanted to know if i was to lets say sell my mini, or take it off the road. Would i be able to cancel the insurance and get anything back for the remaining months, or transfer the policy on to a different car?

I've had a Lancaster agreed valuation policy in the past, as I recall it was fairly expensive by comparison to the classic policies I tend to have these days, but then I think it was also a standard policy that could be refunded/transferred to another vehicle if required, as well as attracting no claims discount etc, unlike classic policies do.

Well I got the cheapest quote of them, but I think it's on a classic policy. It doesn't give any NCB. I'll just have to ring them to find out.

Had a policy with them last year, rolled my car and claimed, they paid out very quickly, but, when I tried to insure another car (same Ins Group), the policy price went from £360 FC to £1600 FC!
Now I expected an increase with having the accident (Black Ice Incident only me involved) But I didn't expect that!
Got another quote for...£400 from someone else!
Mixed Feelings!

did you have agreed value with then? If not did they pay out a decent amount? i made the mistake of not having a agreed value on it.
