Battery Cut Out

i am putting a battery cut out in the mini for safety, i need to be able to switch from inside and out, i was thinking of mounting the switch in the boot and having two pull cords attached. has anyone any experience of this or is there a better way?

I have mine in the Boot on the - batery cable but have to open the boot for access not intended for racing just immoblises the vehicle, not seen any with cables? just didnt want mine exterior mounted

thanks chaps i want to do some Motorsport so needs to be accessible from the front wing and inside the other option is to run the battery cable around to the switch in the wing cant really see anything on the internet as to how this should be done MSA is not really specific.

I always put the switch between the seats and run a cable across the big cross-member, along the RH inner sill and up to an external pull handle on the RH scuttle panel just in front of the screen. The ignition wire is then routed from ignitionn switch to the cut-off switch and from there to the coil.
Of course, the battery lead runs inside the car, as do brake & fuel lines, all in accordance with MSA regulations.

this looks really good thank you for the picture i take it this satisfies the MSA?
