I just finished installing the dash liners and fresh air binnacles on my 77 1100 Special with center 3-clock instrument cluster, but I have a few questions:

- There is a large gap between the fresh binnacle and the back dash liner. Is this normal, or do I by chance have the wrong air vent parts?

- The front edge of the bottom liner is concealed behind the lower dash rail. However the center area, just below the instrument cluster is flush. I pried up the chrome trim and was able to fit the edge of the liner underneath it. It hides the edge, but the liner doesn't sit flat. Is there a better way to have installed the liner?

- The area where the back liners meet, right below the ash tray, overlap. Should some glue be used to smooth this area out, or trimmed, or what?

Looking at photos of stock dashes, it doesn't seem that the dash was a very neatly assembled area to begin with...

*** I just realized that I posted this in the "Web Related" area. Hopefully it can be moved to the "technical" area. ***
