Umm, I'd like to ask why? They're 3 cylinders aren't they, and not very powerful.

If its to be different though then go ahead, bound to find one in a scrappy to take measurements, the pug 107 and citroen c1 are the same so must use the same engine?

At a guess I'd say if your handy at fabricating anything is possible, people manage cosworth YB and C20XE conversions so a tiny 3 cylinder shouldn't be a problem :)

I'm fairly sure the diff on these engines sits in front of the engine/gearbox (like the prototype Minis) so I doubt it would fit.

would you get cheaper road tax if you fitted a modern engine?

The diff is on the back like a normal gearbox. They are tiny units with not a lot of power. Ideal for city car but not very good for much more. If you want measurements I can measure for you as one of my good customers has one :shifty:

No, the government are happy screwing 1973-2001 car owners for every penny they can.

you say that, but a 998 mini cracks 0-60 in 18secs aygo is 13.7 mini weighs 670kg aygo 890kg ish so i think it would make a std 998 mini quicker
