Hi all anyone know where to get yellow headlights from seen a few on minis and look great.

you can get a film or special paint

French cars used to have yellow headlamps. They were just standard bulb type headlights with different yellow bulbs. Some of us used to fit the bulbs when we went there to 'fit in', so at night police would not pick on the English cars! The bulbs are still available

And yellow headlamps are still legal in UK

Do not paint them because you will get trouble at MOT with the e marking, also they will have to be repainted from time to time. It's much easier to just switch the bulbs like mentioned above.

Are those bulbs a straight fit to our minis or is there a difference ?

Thanks for all the help the bulbs area very good idea however I'm looking for the look of the yellow lenses on my project
